EDMONTON IGBO SCHOOL

Teaching to Preserve and Promote the Igbo Language and Culture

The Edmonton Igbo School is a program of the Igbo Cultural Association of Edmonton (ICAE) which aims to teach Igbo Language and Culture to the Igbo People in the communities of Edmonton and its surroundings and promoting various aspects of the Igbo culture, traditions and customs while enhancing the Canadian multicultural mosaic. As a language rich in history, learning Igbo will help connect the learner to over 24 million speakers, which is one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa.

Edmonton Igbo School online was made possible by the generous grant funding we received from Alberta Government.
